Park Avenue Masonic Club

PNC were engaged in 2019 to re-imagine the potential uses for a redundant social club nestled in an urban sprawl area of East Belfast (UK). Due to shifting demographics, the building known as Park Ave Masonic Club became increasingly unsustainable. Therefore the governing bodies decided that they would dispose of the building in a socially responsible manner whilst obtaining best possible price of the underlying asset.

PN Consulting with the brief in hand developed a highly creative means to satisfy all criteria. PNC developed a model that will see, the delivery of 32 new state of the art social housing in conjunction with ARK Housing, Northern Ireland. By adopting this model provincial Grand Lodge of Down Masonic will satisfy their social responsibility obligations and will not compromise on asset value.

The total value of this project will exceed in excess of £6.5 million.

PNC have been at the forefront of the model design, creating collaborative partnerships, project management, architectural design, finance, and community consultation. This route has proven to be optimum for the task and displays blue sky thinking to a relatively complex project.
